A regulated nervous system isn't a luxury. It's the foundation of everything

This retreat was built from lived experience — years of chasing, growing, exploring, and eventually learning that the most powerful thing you can do is pause.

I found an experience that helped me create pockets of space for myself. I took a chance on them. And now I want to create the same for others...

Curated for a life lived at full speed...

Surfer At Sunset

I've always been someone who shows up fully — for every aspect of life. I wouldn't have it any other way, however...

...A few years in, I was severely burnt out. Not the kind where you take a long weekend and feel better — the kind where you don't even remember what it felt like to not be tired. I needed a minute. I needed to pause.

My first retreat at Nectar came at exactly that moment. I did a full digital detox, stepped away from everything, and immersed myself completely — in my yoga practice, the nature, the community. I slept better than I had in years. And somewhere in those three days, something shifted. Not dramatically. Quietly. I remembered who I am when I'm a little lighter.

Yoga had been part of my life for years by the time I went on my first retreat — but it took stepping away from everything to feel what the practice had always been trying to teach me.

Over the last year, leading classes and wellness events, I kept seeing the same thing: people just like me, looking for that moment to breathe. To unwind. To land somewhere soft.

And then it clicked...my superpower has always been bringing people together and creating experiences where people feel at ease. My yoga training gave me the tools. This retreat gives me the platform for I was always meant to create.

This retreat is created by someone who makes intentional rest a practice, for those who are ready to do the same. Within community. Within nature. Just as you are.

With warmth,
Sim

REST

Not as a reward for doing enough. As something you're allowed right now, exactly as you are.

COMMUNITY

Healing is not a solo sport. Being present with others who are also choosing to slow down is its own kind of medicine.

WARMTH

Rooted in ease — the kind that makes you feel at home before you've even unpacked.

What people are saying

Words from the community

"Simran cultivates an energy that is difficult to find in most studios - challenging yet meditative. Because you know you are in good hands, you will find yourself pushing your own limits, mentally and physically."

Nicole Q., Capital Markets Associate

"I took a restorative yoga class with Simran, and as someone who lives with chronic pain, I deeply appreciated her approach. Simran leads with empathy, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable honouring their body’s unique needs. By the end of the class, I felt more connected to my body and noticeably more at ease.

Simran's warmth, openness, and inclusive philosophy shine through in every aspect of her teaching. I highly recommend taking any of her classes."

Disha D., Business Developer

"Simran created such a comforting and welcoming space during the yoga class I attended. Despite being as stiff and inflexible as they come, she made me feel completely at ease and encouraged throughout. Her class thought me that yoga is so much more than just a physical workout - the class brought so much calm and clarity to my mind. I left feeling motivated to continue practicing and that’s all thanks to her guidance and energy. "

Matthew O., Athlete

“In a life where days zoom by me, attending Simran’s classes feels like taking a deep, steadying breath. She creates a space where I can slow down, reconnect with my breath, and simply be. All I have to do is show up.

The community circle and loving-kindness meditation during her spring wellness event were incredibly powerful and allowed me to connect with other attendees. I left feeling more grounded and open-hearted.”

Nimisha J., Masters student

Here's to pouring into your own cup...
